This 10-year-old female was accidentally bit in the face by a dog during a sleepover with friends. The patient had a full thickness lesion of the upper center lip which was lying on the floor. The lip was re-attached by a plastic surgeon and post-surgery the area looked ischemic with severe edema. The patient was referred to HyOx Medical Treatment Center for hyperbaric oxygen treatments starting the day of the incident. Along with a course of antibiotics the patient received 10 treatments.

Result: Healing.
