Chronic Diabetic Ulcer — Left Leg

The patient, a 70-year-old white male, noted difficulty with his lower left leg. The patient was initially treated with intravenous antibiotics secondary to cultures positive for streptococcus. The wound continued to worsen after completing antibiotic treatment. He was referred to HyOx Medical Treatment Center for adjunctive hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The patient participated in 52 treatments to heal his Wagner Grade III diabetic wound.

Result: Healing.
