Celebrating more than 23 years of delivering evidence-based hyperbaric oxygen therapy in Atlanta to help advance healing in patients with medical complications approved by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, Medicare and other insurance plans.
HyOx Medical Treatment Center specializes in hyperbaric medicine and rehabilitation services with board-certified physicians safely prescribing 100 percent oxygen as a drug with time and pressure limits to patients with complications from cancer, infection, trauma, and wounds. Patients undergo hyperbaric oxygen therapy in Georgia’s largest pressurized chamber to supersaturate the body’s plasma with the oxygen needed to feed starving tissues and cells and advance the healing process and improve quality of life.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is administered as a primary or adjunct treatment to other treatment modalities such as surgery, wound care and antibiotic therapy to help achieve optimal patient outcomes by pre-empting or resolving complications, even salvaging limbs and life. Patients are referred to us from multiple specialties including radiation oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, infectious disease, podiatry, ENT, orthopedic surgery, colo/rectal, urology, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Individualized treatment plans are prescribed based upon condition protocols, directives of the referring physician and results of a comprehensive hyperbaric medicine consultation and evaluation with Drs. Richard W. King or Marianne Taryla. The patient’s family are considered integral members of the team and their participation in the planning and implementation of the treatment plan is deemed essential as each patient has unique needs, concerns and resources.
Self-referred patients are common as many are acting as their own advocate researching other treatment options for their complications and wanting to implement a more comprehensive treatment regimen to heal. In those instances, a self-referred patient’s care team is alerted to the treatment plan to maintain continuity of care and the patient’s primary physicians informed of patient progress via care notes and photographs of wound healing.

YES - and i would like ABOUT HYOX to be a landing page with this copy on it following same design pattern as other landing pages with all the sub-navs on left side inside standing blue chamber icon. Also, I deleted the Affiliations page and incorporated it into the Points of Pride
